5月9日 Update from Wally hell!Well, I didn't observe the Cinco De Mayo boycott....if it makes anyone feel any better I did celebrate at a Japanese Steak house having sushi....sorry, but I don't care if these people are here...we shouldn't be mad at them for being here...be mad at our government for letting them in and making it easy for them to stay illegally....but anywho...on to more exciting things...
I don't want this to be a huge blog so I will do a brief update of Wally Hell....while it may or may not be a fun/good place to shop...it is a terrible place to work....the hours suck, the pay sucks, the employees royally suck...THEY ARE SOOOO MEAN!!!! Customer service is not one of the strong points there apparently...I myself do try to be nice and polite to the customers, but occasionally I find myself being myself...a smart ass...for example:
Customer: "Where can I find toilet paper?"
Me: "In the bathroom."
Customer: "Where can I find a door mat?"
Me: "Usually in front of a door."
Customer: "How much does this bag of charcol weigh?"
Me: "Well, the bag says 15 lbs so I am going to take a wild guess and say 15 lbs."
Co-Worker: (see's me watering plants) "What are you doing? Watering the plants?"
Me: "No, I am taking the hose for a walk."
I could really write a book about this place, but would probably get sued...
All the animals are fine, FT job is going well, I don't have to work near as hard as I do at WH.
I am off a few nights this week and will try to write more, its all jumbled in my head and dying to get out!
